A Chinese famille rose teapot, 19th century. Finely overglaze enamel painted depicting birds amongst blossoming trees in a rocky landscape with a ruyi pattern to the rims border. Qianlong Imperial reign mark in overglaze painted iron red beneath. 5.5 in (14 cm) height.
Condition report: Some minor surface wear with age. Spout drilled, probably once applied with metal mount.
