A BRASS-HILTED HUNTING HANGER

18th century, the guard cast and chased in relief with a classical figure and hunting scenes, the grip bound with fish skin in leather scabbard (the blade is seized within), 58cm; together with an Islamic short sword with horn grip and endorsed eagle quillons, and velvet scabbard and straps en suite, with partially legible engraving on the locket 'Taken by... in his first....against the Turks', 44cm blade; and a 19th century Nepalese kukri (lacking by-knives) (3)
