A pair of George III mahogany lanthorns or lanterns, of architectural form, each with a broken pediment centred with an ivory acorn shaped finial (lacking one finial), above a stepped cornice and a hinged side door opening to a mirrored back plate, behind the glazed front panel and a pair of rectangular pilasters, raised upon a conforming stepped plinth base, 50cm H x 33cm W x 20cm D (at fault)

16cm crack to one door, one ivory finial missing with some loss to fretwork, extensive silvering loss to both mirrors, both lanterns extensively grimy in barn find condition
