A Chinese Carved Libation Cup with Plum Blossom, with Four-Character Seal Mark to the Base.
A dark-toned Chinese libation cup, the flaring body rising from a splayed foot and intricately carved with flowering plum blossoms and twisted branches in high relief. The rim is bordered with a continuous key-fret pattern, and the branches form an integrated handle looping around the vessel. The base is incised with a four-character seal mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
