HANOVER: Group of c.1856 covers, each with 1856 issue (coloured network) frankings. Incs. undated cover from Hamburg to Wolfenruttel bearing 1/10th black & orange with single ring Hamburg cds and on reverse small blue circular "AUSGABE/No 2" mark alongside blue double ring Wolfenruttel cds Lamy expertisers mark present. Also, Dec. 1856 'Parcel letter' from Harburg to Lubbecke franked with 3 x 1/10th black & orange and having Berlin-Minden train PO mark on reverse; two undated covers each with single 1ggr black & green frankings, one cover to Lindau (origin unclear) and the other from Peine (with boxed 2-line mark cancelling the stamp) possibly to Celle. A fine group of covers. (4)
