A French Empire ormolu mantle clock, the 7cm circular engine turned dial with Roman numerals, twin winding holes, eight day movement striking on a bell, the case cast with Erato seated playing the Lyre, the stepped rectangular base applied with cast floral wreathes and musical trophies above a band of stiff lotus leaves, block feet, 30cm high x 23cm wide, c.1840
