A fine hallmarked silver three-piece bachelor's tea service comprising teapot, sugar and milk jug. Each piece with very finely cast and engraved decoration with neoclassical-style swags and husks, and foliate cast foot upon a square plinth base. The two-handled sugar and milk jug with gilded interiors. The teapot (18 cm high including finial) with carved arched and ebonised wooden handle. Maker's mark HA&S for Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater; the teapot and sugar assayed 1902 and the jug 1906.
