Militaria : WW2 Tank Commanders letters 1st Arm Bat Coldstream Guards WWII:

A series of twenty-nine wartime personal letters written by 2nd Lieutenant Edward Timothy Smyth-Osbourne, 1st (Armoured) Battalion Coldstream Guards (1925-1987), many written from the frontline. Several penned on Regimental headed notepaper, and describing his experiences of fighting German troops (excerpt from December 19th 1944: "...Germans seem to be making a big push. It may be a chance to have a good battle & beat them once & for all.")
