A RARE GREYISH-CELADON JADE PEAR-SHAPED ‘SHOU’ EWER AND COVER 晚明 青玉寿字纹执壶 Late Ming dynasty, 16-17th century each side of the lower body finely carved with a peach-shaped panel enclosing a character shou and incised with scrolling lotus and leaves. The spout and handle carved with clouds. The mouth rim is encircled by a T-fret border, and the foot rim raised with rope twist bands. The cover below a sitting Bixie finial. H. 19.5cm
