An old-cut diamond, three-stone ring, total estimated diamond weight 1.30cts, I-J colour, P1-2 clarity, with hallmarks for London, length of ring head ca. 1.5cm, ring size S, total weight c.a 2.7gms. Provenance: reputedly a gift from Lady Constance Cary of Torquay to the vendor. The Cary family is an ancient aristocratic family whose roots in Devon can be traced back to the 14th century.
