Ann Collier: A unique handmade lace fan leaf created by Ann Collier, 20th century, “Protest Fan for Iraq” the leaf worked in bobbin and needle lace, with fighter planes soaring over a burning city, domes and minarets picked out in gold thread, AC initials to the upper left, the monture of wood painted black, noted on the verso “Iraq 2003”, guard approx. 24cm
In good order, slight rubbing to the paint on the upper guard.
