AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SILVER-GILT AND ENAMEL COMPACT

import marks, H C Freeman Ltd, London 1931, rectangular, the hinged cover enamel decorated with two 18th Century ladies and sheep in a landscape, the sides and base engine-turned, the interior with a mirror to the underside of the lid and an engine-turned hinged cover to the base. 4.7cm by 4.2cm, 2.1 troy ounces gross



The marks are clear. The lid closes well, and the hinges are in good order. There are some light scratches to the enamel. In generally good condition.
