From The Estate Of Tom Owen (1949-2022) - Scrapbooks - a collection of x4 of Tom Owen's personally made scrap books, dealing with his early career c1960s to the c1980s.
The first scrapbook features many newspaper clippings relating to his projects Wreckers At Dead Eye, The Freewheelers, and other TV / film projects from the period. Included within the album is an autographed 8x10" b/w photograph of his father Bill, signed 'Dear Tom, love Dad,' a Wreckers At Dead Eye filming schedule, various theatre programmes featuring Owen, contracts for plays, telegrams, letters and contracts for Freewheelers, contract for a Lyons Maid commercial, letters from fans, cards and autographs from the Freewheelers cast / crew, and many other items. Some laid-in, many loose.
The second album features many on-set photographs from Tom's early work, and other items including: headshots and theatre cast photographs, newspaper clippings, photographs of Kirk Douglas on-set during 'Queenie' and others. Mostly loose items, sparsely filled album
The third album features a set of personally taken photographs during Tom's work on-set during a production. Includes photographs of makeup, behind-the-scenes, outtakes etc.
The final album deals with Tom's trip to America during his appearance in the play 'London Assurance'. The album features photographs of trips, theatres, his fellow cast members (including Sue Nicholls) and other photographs from his time in America.
