1940-42 TRANSATLANTIC AIR MAIL - UK & COMMONWEALTH: An album containing a range of air mail covers mounted on written-up display pages explaining the rates, carriers, etc., flown by BOAC, Pan-American Airways, or the Atlantic Ferry Organisation inc. a 1940 env. to India with a missing stamp and a s/l "SALVED FROM THE SEA" hs; a 1941 env. to India flown via the Horseshoe Route franked with a block of four 20c + a 10c stamps cancelled by Duncan duplexes with a fine triangular censor mark; a 1941 env. to Tanganyika with a large pink oval "O.A.T." cachet.
