A rare vintage 1950/1960s Japanese silk painting of a "Madonna" figure kneeling with halo towards the light with the Christ child in arms. These paintings were first produced by Mrs Habu of Tokyo and her family who created images and sold them to catholic churches and schools. Signed bottom right, artist unknown. H55cm x W43cm
