A 19th Century Austrian Figural Mantel Clock with 'Rocking Eye' Automaton, the 4.625ins white enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, with openwork centre incorporating gilt brass automaton figure of Amore sharpening an arrow with his left leg operating a foot crank driving and grinding wheel motioning, as the clock is strikes the hour, to the eight day movement striking on a gong and with bob pendulum, contained in carved parcel gilt and ebonised wood case of drum pattern surmounted by hurdy-gurdy player wearing wide brimmed hat,  on rectangular moulded base with bun feet, 18.5ins high
