A Victorian silver Corinthian column oil lamp, frosted globular shade, stop fluted column, stepped base, 75cm high, Mappin and Webb, Sheffield c.1897
Generally good condition. The silver columnar base with anticipated wear, the hallmarks and inscription with various degrees of rubbing; some occasional bumps, surface scratches; expected tarnish. The glass reservoir generally good, too: some nibbles here and there. The shades good. The plateau with its fittings base metal and tarnished, and with some alterations. Please see attached images.
