An interesting WWI Medal pair and star with death plaque to Able Seaman Herbert Edwards who started his career in the Royal Navy as a Cabin Boy with several Stone Frigates (dry land establishments) until HMS Birmingham as an Able Seaman in 1915 seeing action at the Battle of Jutland. He went to HMS Vernon a Stone Frigate Shore Base for the Royal Navy Torpedo School. Some research and newspaper cutting, along with the original medal boxes and packets that were in his 1914 Xmas gift tin from Princess Mary, which would of contained chocolates & sweets as he was not old enough to smoke. UK P&P Group 2 (£20+VAT for the first lot and £4+VAT for subsequent lots)
