1st class with swords, with marker mark of '3' for Wilhelm Deumer, Ludenscheid stamped onto the reverse of the cross, most of the original finish has been lost from this late-war example. The pin and catch are present on the reverse, 19.2g; together with a 2nd Class with swords, with a maker mark of '6' on the ring, 24.2g; and a War Merit Medal with a replacement ring, 12.7g (3)
