The main text is complete, however xiii-xvi (inclusive) of the introduction are lacking; the plates appear to be complete, but this is just a guide. Stable horizontal tear to 123; 249 full-length vertical tear; 333-336 of index with inner stable tear: however no loss of text to any of the aforementioned tears. Title-page with pencilled price, split at gutter between it and the frontispiece; however, the binding is fairly sound and not detached; typical bumps and rubbing. Typical foxing and toning here and there throughout; the lower gutter has an old stain of alternating visibility throughout. Some rough untrimmed edges. Pages with intentional creases and folding.
