A Georgian coach watch by by Louis Recordon, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary dial, movement engraved 'Aedificata Pro Regent, Recordon London Maker to their Royal Hignesses, Prince of Wales & Duke of Kent and Duke of Sussex, no. 4189', in need of some restoration, lacking rear watch cover, diameter 98mm approx., contained in contemporary straight-grained morocco leather case with coat of arms to lid (case made by Wickwar Manufacturer, Poland Street, London), case diameter 34cm approx., It is believed that this watch was made for the Prince of Wales due to its unusual construction.
