BUTLIN'S HOLIDAY CAMP, AYR: An unusual thematic collection of cards 1950s-1980s, mounted on pages but only sparsely written-up. Mainly colour cards but inc. 1950s real photo types (5). Cards show camp layout, chalets, the ballroom, interior views, the miniature train and lake, swimming pools, activities and night views etc. A difficult to replicate, comprehensive collection which also contains a registered p. stat. env. pmk "BUTLIN'S CAMP/4 JU/63/AYR" and a certificate of posting with "BUTLIN'S CAMP/29 MY/59/AYR" pmk. from the seasonal PO based at the camp.
