CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION AMENDMENT: W W Windred, Prize fighting cocks, signed oils on panel, 31cm x 30cm, untitled, thought possibly to include 'Samson' Mr Tidbold's Golden Duckwing cock
Please see our catalogue amendment. Both paintings are signed lower left, but are untitled. One of the panels has a vertical split on the top, approx. 10cm long. Both pictures have fine craquelure throughout. One has two small spots of overpainted paint flakes. The other has a patch of abrasion to the paint surface to the right of the bird. Both are painted on rough hewn wooden panels. Presented in modern frames.
