Star Lot: A lovely early twentieth century original watercolour painting on paper by Bernard Finegan Gribble (10 May 1872 – 21 February 1962). Gribble was a prolific British marine artist and illustrator with this watercolour depicting a more subdued sail boat and still water scene rather than his more typical epic historic maritime subjects.
Gribble has a strong auction history with similar watercolours fetching mid hundreds at auction.
Housed in gilt frame with foliate detail.
