A Memorial Plaque named to Walter Edward Cowles who served as a Serjeant, A 2335, in the 9th (Service) Battalion of the Kings Royal Rifle Corps, a Wymondham, Norwich man, he was killed in action on the 25th September 1915 and is commemorated on the Menin Gate.
