A RARE AND UNUSUAL PISTOL GAS STOVE LIGHTER, Patented by REMANCO and made in England around the 1930s, the Remanco Toy Company was founded in 1893 by W.R. Pedley & Co in Dimminsdale, Willenhall, Staffordshire, England and dissolved in 1965, it is missing its flint and its surface is rusted in numerous places, comes with a believed Afghan made flintlock cavalry pistol which is fitted with what appears to be a genuine Tower lock marked with a Crown over GR and on its tail is marked Dublin Castle, the front of the barrel is attached to the stock with a brass barrel retention band alien to original Dublin Castle pistols of this period, its stock unlike the standard walnut stocks on Dublin Castle pistols this is in some other make of timber, it is however is good working order and has been well used and will have been made before 1939 so classed as an antique (2)
