UNPAID COVER WITH OVAL "F/27" FROM PARIS TO CORFU: 6 May 1862 unpaid EL (fragile - damage on flaps, folds & edges; with attractive printed heading depicting exhibition medals) from Paris to Corfu with black oval "F/27" accountancy mark overlapping Paris cds on front with business cachet. Triest transit mark & Corfu cds with inverted centre on the reverse. Rare usage of the Article 27 mark for Ionian Islands before their 1864 unification with Greece.
