A late 19th-century J.W Benson 8-day figural spelter and alabaster mantle clock, with the figure of a seated Ceres with a sheath of corn and a plough in her hand, stamped P.H Mourey to the reverse of the case, the movement chiming the hours on a single bell, the architectural alabaster case set with hand-painted Sevres style panels supported by turned toupee feet on a later wooden plinth, 35 cm wide x 15 cm deep x 29 cm high
