An ormolu miniature frame. French, early 19th century, cast with scrolls and shells, with a matt gilt slip and eternal serpent split ring, 12.5cmX10cm. The internal measurement of the raised flange is 8.3X7.2cm, and the inner measurement of the slip is 5.9X4.7cm. No condition issues, the back pushes on and is a tight fit.
