Honourable Artillery Company Officer's (Infantry) Sword by Wilkinson
32 1/4 inch, dumbbell blade with central fuller. Etched foliage scroll panels with "Honourable Artillery Company" and central winged lightening bolts. The reverse with flaming grenade over field gun. Owner's initials "GWS". Forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London". Back edge numbered "60423" (1925). Plated steel, pierced guard with "HAC" flaming grenade cartouche. Plated steel pommel and checkered backstrap. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered, wooden field scabbard. Guard with some loss of plating.
