Mediaeval (13th to 15th century). Cast lead weight, circular, 26.5g, 30mm diameter, flat base, domed upper surface decorated with pattern of raised cross with dots in angles, reminiscent of mediaeval silver penny (PAS ref., NCL-3DF5B8); D-shaped swivel ring, cast copper alloy, c.27mm diameter (NCL-17A886) and cast copper alloy mount, approximately 34mm x 13mm, rectangular, with bird’s head at one end, and fan-shaped bird’s tail at the other, each with small central perforation (NCL-3DB434) (3)
