A set of plans for the GWR Vale of Neath route, Dare and Aman and Bwllfa Dare Branches, 1890. A single volume, 6"x12", with gilt title, covering the route between Dare Junction and Gelli Tarw Junction. Includes the many collieries and sidings, complete with annotations relating to land acquisitions and disposals. The plans are hand-coloured and highly detailed, even showing signal posts. These types of plan are generally known as terrier maps. Excellent condition, other than an occasional split at the edge of a fold and a little wear to the edge of the cover. The plans have a non-matching slipcase. (Postage Band: B)
