An Edwardian style untested ruby and diamond ring, the central oval cut untested ruby within surround of nine round cut diamonds, set in white metal claw setting edge leading to diamond set fleur de lis designed shoulders leading to plain polished shank, indistinctly stamped (shank oval) 9gms, total untested ruby weight 3ct, total diamond weight estimated 1.80ct

Untested ruby shows inclusions under x10 loupe.
Possible blue flashes also seen showing it may have been treated.
Claws are present to the stone.
A few diamonds to surround show minor inclusions (seen under x10 loupe)
Appear bright, lively and well matched in colour.
One diamond within the surround and one to the shoulders shows fluorescence under UV light.
Under bezel shows minor wear, commensurate with age and use.
Please note that the shank is mishappen and oval.
Shank shows resizing join and is indistinctly marked
General tarnishing seen to the metal of the ring.
General scuffs seen throughout, commensurate with being worn.
