A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Amitayus, Qianlong mark and period (1736-95),
holding a vessel in his right hand, seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne, cast seven character Qianlong mark above an engraved four character mark to the front of the throne, a further four character inscription to the back,
12.5 cm high

More Information

There is where and patina to the gilding and bronze consistent with age and use. The fingers of the left hand look slightly bent out of shape otherwise minor casting imperfections in good condition.
