A rare 19th century French gilt bronze figural musical mantel clock, the mahogany base with 6in cylinder, by Nicole Freres, No.28216, total height 49cm, with original winding key.
No dome, no pendulum. Crack/restoration to dial. Rear door missing. Key for musical box, no key for clock. One comb tip missing, first on left hand side. Music box works ok but needs a good clean. Clock mount dirty but looks complete. Hammer does not hit bell, wrong bell? Gilding rubbed in various placed. Restoration needed.
