A RARE STRAITS CHINESE NYONYA WARE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMEL PORCELAIN BOWL, 19/20TH CENTURY. With rounded body decorated with central medallion featuring a crane, surrounded by fruit sprays, birds and butterflies on a pink enamel ground. The exterior similarly decorated, with a chrysanthemum spray to the base. 21.5cm diam.
Provenance: From the estate of a prominent Peranakan family, Khoo Sian Ewe (1886 - 1964), thence by descent.
