A Late 18th century Derby patch mark porcelain figure of Shakespeare, leaning upon books, atop a column, indicating a scroll inscribed with text from "The Tempest", c.1770, 30cm high

Condition: chip to the top of column, gilt wear in places, left hand has been restored, chip to front base and "green glaze" foot, some stress cracks from making, small chips to cape edge at front and back, larger stress cracks from manufacture on back of cape, small chip to edge of scroll.
