A Louis XVI revival ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, by Phillipe Mourey (1840-1920), 8cm dial inscribed with Arabic numerals, twin winding holes, 8-day movement marked LB, striking on a bell, swinging on a pendulum, the cresting with a pair of doves among a lyre and laurels above a frieze painted with musical objects, the dial flanked by a pair of ceramic vases painted with cherubs on a blue ground, the base with a recumbent cherub and cast with fruiting vine, ebonised plinth, 40cm high overall
