An unheated Madagascan sapphire and diamond trilogy ring, centred with an oval-cut sapphire of intense blue colour, approximately 9.2 x 6.6 x 6.0 mm, claw-set between two shield-cut diamonds, between tapered shoulders, unmarked yellow metal testing as 18ct, size P½, 4.6 grams. A verbal assessment of the Gemmological Certification Services confirms sapphire to be Madagascan in origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Ref.: 5785-1610
