1841 (Feb. 12) Handwritten Valentine poem, four eight line verses to "Dear Meg", posted from Belfast to a lady in Ballymore, Ballyclare, franked by a 1d black, AG plate 8 (faults) tied by a red Maltese Cross, Belfast Late and Belfast backstamps. The 1841 Valentines Day was the only one where 1d blacks were in use, many Valentines however being posted prepaid in cash or unpaid.
