Georgian Sheffield plate tankard, the domed cover with foliate scroll thumb-piece, the scroll handle with lower heart finial, on moulded foot-rim with loaded base, stamps for Fenton Matthews & Co, 19cm high
Overall good condition, with wear as expected. A few 'light' indents to lid and body but does not detract.Hinge in good stable working order, plate worn very minimally on lid and on stress point on handle. Engravings clear (slightly worn on handle but visible)
