A GEORGE III SILVER TEA POT. rounded oblong form, with gadrooned borders, a cushion finial and on ball feet, inscribed "PRESENTED BY THE OFFICERS OF THE ROYAL CUMBERLAND MILITIA AT THE DISEMBODYING THERE OF IN THE YEAR" 1815", initialled "H", by Peter & William Bateman, London 1814; 12" (30.5cm) long; 22.3ozt

*Edward Batchelor Harraden (1764-1846), owned and resided at Hunter Hall, Great Salkeld, Cumbria and was Paymaster to the Cumbria Militia.
