British Commemorative Medallions (2): Barber Beaumont Institution medal 1841 bronze 55mm in diameter. Is a bit pitted, is in a glass backed yellow metal roundel (rim tests as 9ct. gold). Has an historical inscription round the rim plus a Barber Beaumont "Duke of Cumberlands Sharp Shooters' bronze medal", d.41mm with a similar yellow metal collar, tests as 9ct. Round the rim it reads "Became on July 11th 1835 The Royal Victoria Rifle Club and in 1851 the First Middlesex Victoria Rifles
