Second Sekukuni War. 1879 (Dec 28) Stampless cover to England, endorsed "on service in the field, no stamps obtainable. S.H McLeod Nairne, Capt 94th Regt, Commg troops Fort Albert, Sekukunis Territory" with circular "6d" charge mark, backstamped at Cape Town (June 19) and Southall. A fine and scarce officers cover, posted shortly after the end of the Sekukuni War when the troops were on peacekeeping duties; other covers from this correspondence sent from Fort Albert entered the post at Lydenberg.
