Very fine registered envelope bearing a block of four 1d (SG432) and a single 1½d example (SG433) each tied by a British Empire Exhibition Wembley handstamp for the first day of issue MY.9.1925. with a British Empire Exhibition No.45 Registered label at bottom left. Backstamped by another B.E.E. datstamp on reverse for the first day with a registered oval datestamp alongside and a red hooded London Registered datestamp for the following day. Scarce first day cover.
