Original antique advertising poster for an American sports magazine (1882-1923): Outing Holiday Number January 1896 featuring a great winter scene showing Father Christmas / Santa Claus / St Nicholas wearing a warm coat and walking in snow shoes toasting a drink with a fashionably dressed lady skiing down a slope with silhouette trees in the background and a full moon behind their glasses, the text against the snow lists the articles in this Christmas New Year issue - Winter Fishing / Moose Hunting / Sweet Marjory by Mrs. S. B. Kennedy / An Arctic Castaway / A Night Among Wolves / The Horse of Society - and the stylised title lettering is on the margin above and below. Artwork by Henry Summer Watson (1868-1933).
