A set of three 18thC Emanuel Bowen maps of Yorkshire, comprising 'An ACCURATE MAP of the NORTH RIDING of YORKSHIRE Divided into its WAPONTAKES...', 'An ACCURATE MAP of the WEST RIDING of YORKSHIRE Divided into its WAPONTAKES...' and 'An ACCURATE MAP of the EAST RIDING of YORKSHIRE Divided into its WAPONTAKES...', printed for Carington Bowles in St Pauls, John Bowles in Ciornhill and Rbt Sayer in Fleet Street, with contemporary hand colouring, framed and glazed, frames 58.8cm high, 76.8cm high (3)
Condition: With central folds as issued. Platemarks visible. Some fading and browning/ambering as photographed, no apparent losses. Not examined out of frames.
Shipping
We are sorry but this lot cannot be shipped by our in-house packing and shipping department. Therefore, it must be collected from our premises in Royal Tunbridge Wells, or you can nominate a third party packer and shipper of your choice.
