Railway. B.R. Steam. A collection of approx. 200 postcard size, black and white prints, with minor duplication. The prints/photographs were taken by a Mr Sparrowe and include a wide variety of subjects, including: Ex Southern Steam locomotives, rolling stock, industrial sites, Southern Electric units and infrastructure (sheds, stations, buildings, signals etc). Locations include: Waterloo, Teddington, Bricklayers Arms, Ashford, Whitstable, Bognor, Norwood Jnt., Peckham Rye, Forest Hill, Folkestone, Shepherds Well, Chichester, The Downham Estate railway, and several views taken on Isle of Man Railways. The photographs are accompanied by a notebook stamped with the BBC logo, with details of the photos. Copyright is not on offer. Sample illustrated.
