An enamel inset casket, late 19th/early 20th century, of hexagonal form, the cover painted with three cherubs, the side panels decorated with floral landscapes, with buttoned silk lined interior, on raised bun feet, 9cm high (at fault)

The casket is missing one foot, the supporting bracket for which is slightly bent. The silk lining of the base is stained, worn and frayed. The enamel panels show minor surface wear but no obvious chips, crack or crazing. The mounts around the some panels are slightly distorted and not sitting properly. The gilt finish shows minor wear and fine surface scratching. The cover appears to be slightly distorted and does not sit flat when closed. The interior lining shows some wear and staining.
