An Victorian gold necklace set rubies and seed pearls.
Weight 34.8g, length and width of pendant 4.5cm x 4cm, approx. look like rubies as they do have a purple hue to the colour, no solder or damage visible. length when laid flat 42cm. The pendant has a pin clasp on it, unsure why it has been made like this, the pendant/brooch does seem a lot brighter than the rest of the necklace. They may have been put together as there is a hook on the brooch/pendant and one for the necklace (we have no idea, the vendor bought them together), the measurement was only taken for half the necklace for some reason, this has now been amended. The stones are not tested, but appear to have a purple hue, and the vendor bought it as ruby originally. The vendor bought them and was told they were Victorian, we have no physical proof.
